Economic Justice Matters: A Discussion Series

The Economic Justice Matters discussion series is a platform hosted by the IEJ to spotlight pressing economic justice issues in South Africa and globally. Bringing together leading thinkers, activists, and policymakers, the series interrogates the economic status quo and explores alternatives rooted in justice, equality, and dignity.

From fiscal rules and budget justice to social protection and the implications of South Africa’s new Government of National Unity, each episode is grounded in timely research and political developments. Co-hosted where relevant with partner organisations or media partners, and streamed online, the series invites public dialogue on how economic policy can serve people over profit.
